Moving Midway and Pirate Radio

So, I changed my Netflix subscription to Internet only, no DVD's. Is that a sign of the times? People don't even want to be bothered with little discs. But hey, for someone like me, it's perfect.

Take "Pirate Radio" for example: It was a DVD sent to me. Took me two weeks to even start to watch it. Once I did, I didn't like it and didn't finish it. But did I return it right away? Nope. Took me another 2 weeks to return it. I got "Sherlock Holmes" in the mail today, but I don't know when I'll watch it.

But I did watch "Moving Midway" today. It was a documentary about the filmmaker's ancestral home, a plantation near Raleigh, NC, being moved due to progress. It was an insightful journey for him as he met several cousins he didn't even know he had. I was wondering how they could make a 90 minute moving about moving a house. Definitely worth the watch! But you have to be interested in Southern History and genealogy to enjoy it.

Well, off to make cookies, I think...
